The State Banner of Ukraine is a flag of two equal horizontal stripes of blue and yellow, which has long been used by Ukrainians. The combination of these two colors is seen as a marking of Ukrainian identity, a combination of freedom and independence. In this combination, the blue color symbolizes honor, loyalty, sincerity, peace, the vastness of the sky, security, harmony; yellow – God’s generosity, Ukrainian wheat field, greatness, respect.

On the reverse of the “Our Banner” coin, framed by rays, a stylized bird decorated with ornaments is depicted, which holds a brush of viburnum and symbolizes the Ukrainian soul in its quest for freedom and independence; below the inscription - OUR SOUL.
