Ukraine 20 Hryvnias 2011 — UEFA EURO 2012 Ukraine and Poland
Dedicated to an important sporting event – the Final Tournament of the UEFA European Football Championship, which will be held in Ukraine and Poland in 2012. The coin is official UEFA EURO 2012 licensed merchandise.
No certificate is included, as the coin was part of the official set of the National Bank of Ukraine.
The obverse features: the small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine, the inscription NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE in a semicircle (at the top), a map of Europe with the inscriptions KYIV and WARSZAWA, against which a holographic image of the UEFA EURO 2012 logo is displayed, below which the inscriptions: UEFA/EURO/20 — on the left, the years of the UEFA European Football Championships are marked, starting fr om 1960; on the right — the denomination and year of minting 20/HRYVNIAS/2011.
The reverse features a stylised composition — the Olympic Stadium, wh ere the championship final will take place, and the numerals 2012, against which dynamic figures of footballers are depicted; below the composition the inscription FINAL TOURNAMENT OF THE UEFA EUROPEAN FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP/2012, at the top — the coat of arms of Kyiv.
