Commemorative coin dedicated to Ukrainian language. Language is not only a means of communication, but also a carrier of rich cultural heritage, it is part of our genetic code. It was the language that became the foundation of our unity, our weapon, at a very difficult moment in the history of Ukraine. Today, the spirit of freedom speaks in the Ukrainian language, which impresses the whole world.
On the obverse the coin features: a stylized letter Y with a nightingale, symbolizing the melodiousness and singing of the Ukrainian language, in the center of the letter - a small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine; on the mirror background of the coin there is a texture of the contours of the letters of the Ukrainian alphabet, which associatively resembles a nest, which is a symbol of the home and a family amulet; below – the denomination of the coin is 10 and the graphic sign of the hryvnia, the year of minting of the coin is 2023.
On the reversethe coins feature a stylized composition consisting of letters of the Ukrainian alphabet; in the composition, the letters Г, Й, Э, І are highlighted (an element of decoration is local gilding), which distinguish the Ukrainian language phonetically and graphically among cultures that use the Cyrillic alphabet. Among the textured letters of the composition, the letters U, K, R, A, Y, N, I stand out, which in combination with the words OUR LANGUAGE form the expression "our language of Ukraine". Elements of the reverse composition emphasize the integration of language into modern gadgets, digital devices, and information networks.
