The commemorative coin is dedicated to one of the twelve animals of the eastern calendar. The Snake is the sixth sign of the Chinese zodiac, symbolizing flexibility, intuition and peace. She personifies deep knowledge, prudence, the ability to adapt and survive in any conditions.
On the obverse of the coin there are: at the top - the small State Emblem of Ukraine, to the right of which is the inscription in a semicircle UKRAINE; on a mirror background, 12 symbols of the eastern calendar are depicted in a circle, in the center of the circle there is a stylized clock with an arrow pointing to a snake - a symbol of the year, above the arrow - 2025; at the bottom left there is an inscription in a semicircle 5 HRYVEN; on a matte background, symbols of each season stylized as Ukrainian Vitinanka are depicted: snowflake (top), flower (right), berry (bottom), leaf (left); logo of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (to the right above the tiger symbol).
On the reverse of the coin, in the center of the composition, there is a symbol of the eastern calendar 2025 - a mysterious snake, which additionally means danger to the enemy. The image is arranged in a hexagon, expressing dynamics and inner strength, and in combination with an aggressive image of the head - hostility and unpredictability for the attacker. The snake's tail is intricately twisted and resembles a saber, which symbolizes readiness to fight. Surrounding the snake in a circle are stylized symbols associated with each season: snowflakes (top right), flowers (bottom right), fruits (bottom left), branches (top left).
