A 1997 coin from the series devoted to the Isle of Man TT races, devoted to the 1957 Gilera. The Isle of Man is a self-governing British Crown Dependency in the Irish Sea. Its crowns are legal tender on the island but are not released into circulation: they are coins made for collectors from the outset, struck by the private British Pobjoy Mint. The obverse bears a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The Tourist Trophy has been run on the island's roads since 1907 and is regarded as one of the most dangerous and famous motorcycle races in the world.
