Modern circulation coin set of Pakistan (Pakistan circulation coins), including the main circulating denominations in Pakistani rupees: 1, 2, 5, and 10 rupees.

General series design
On the obverse of all coins — crescent and star (state symbol of Pakistan), wreath of wheat ears (symbol of agriculture and fertility), inscription in Urdu «اسلامی جمہوریہ پاکستان» (“Islamic Republic of Pakistan”) at the top, year of minting at the bottom.

Reverses by denomination

• 1 rupee — depiction of Badshahi Mosque in Lahore — one of the largest and most famous historic mosques in the country, built in the 17th century under Emperor Aurangzeb. On some issues (especially after 2016–2017) features a portrait of Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
• 2 rupees — architectural motif in Mughal style, resembling domes and minarets of Badshahi or other historic mosques.
• 5 rupees — large numeral “5” in decorative ornament, stylized patterns along the edges.
• 10 rupees — Faisal Mosque in Islamabad — the largest modern mosque in Pakistan, built in 1986, symbol of contemporary Islamic architecture.

The coins reflect the Islamic identity of the country (crescent and star, mosques as central motifs), connection to history (Mughal heritage of Badshahi), and modernity (Faisal Mosque), emphasizing the role of religion, culture, and national unity in Pakistan’s everyday currency.
