This is not a banknote but a coupon card of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 1993: a sheet of 50 coupons issued for the fourth quarter. Its inscriptions are in Uzbek written in Cyrillic, «50 kuponga kartochka», with a note at the top that the card must be returned to the place where it was issued.

The front has blank fields for the name of the organisation, the holder's surname, the signatures of the head and the chief accountant, and a place for the stamp; the back is blank. The Pick catalogue lists these cards as P46, and they are known both as full sheets and as single coupons.

For a collection of Uzbekistan or of post-Soviet money substitutes this is a document of the transitional year 1993, and the quarterly cards make it possible to build a set by quarter. UNC condition means the piece has never circulated: no folds, no wear, no soiling, even corners — just as it left the press.

VPcoins brings coins and banknotes from all over the world together in one catalogue.
