This collectible silver coin has a nine-sided shape (an enneagon), is struck to a special uncirculated quality, comes packaged in a case and is dedicated to children born under the zodiac sign of Leo.

The obverse of the coin is divided into two circles: a large inner circle with a mirror field and an outer circle, a ring with a matte field and a nine-sided outer rim. The inner circle is filled with a stylised composition in which images of the signs of the zodiac appear against a starry sky divided by a spiral; below, on a crescent moon, as if in a cradle, a baby is sleeping sweetly. On the outer ring with the matte field are: at the top, the small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine, with the semicircular inscription «NATSIONALNYI ⌂ BANK UKRAINY» (National Bank of Ukraine) on both sides of it; at the bottom of the obverse, the semicircular inscription with the denomination of the coin in words, «DVI HRYVNI» (Two Hryvnias). On the right side of the outer ring is the year of minting, «2014», and below it the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine; on the left side of the outer ring are the designation of the precious metal and its fineness, «Ag 925», and below it the weight of pure silver, «7,78».

The reverse of the coin has a semicircular matte field at the upper left and a mirror field over the rest of the coin. On the left of the reverse, at the top on the matte field, is the symbol of the zodiac sign Leo. On the mirror field below is a stylised image of grass on which a lion cub is sitting. On the right, at the top of the reverse near the outer rim, is the semicircular inscription in a stylised typeface «LEVENIATKO» (Lion Cub).
