This coloured 2023 token with a spotted wild cat from the «CHATS SAUVAGES» («Wild Cats») series, inscribed «TROMELIN 3 francs», is a private fantasy issue rather than a coin. Tromelin is a tiny uninhabited island in the Indian Ocean with no money of its own.

One side shows a coloured image of a spotted wild cat in a forest with the inscription «CHATS SAUVAGES» and the date «2023»; the other shows a shield with two lions, a wreath and the words «TROMELIN 3 francs». UNC condition means the piece has never circulated: there is no wear.

For collectors, VPcoins gathers numismatic items from many countries and eras in one catalogue.
