This 5-hryvnia commemorative coin of 2024 is devoted to the Ukrainian 8×8 wheeled armoured personnel carrier developed by the Kharkiv design bureau. The coin belongs to the «Ukrainian Bavovna» series devoted to Ukrainian weapons and military equipment. The word bavovna, literally «cotton», came into use in 2022 as an ironic term for explosions at enemy military sites and quickly became a recognisable feature of Ukrainian wartime culture. A colourised example, the colour applied over the struck coin.

A coin from the VPcoins range makes a good starting point for a themed selection or a date run.
