The Dnipropetrovsk region in colour and in a souvenir package: a 2026 commemorative 10-hryvnia coin from the National Bank of Ukraine’s «We Are Strong. We Are Together» series, in a version with a coloured reverse.

The base is the NBU circulating coin: the reverse shows the country map with administrative borders and the legends «ДНІПРОПЕТРОВСЬКА ОБЛАСТЬ» and «МИ СИЛЬНІ • МИ РАЗОМ». In this version only the reverse is coloured: the field around the map is coloured in deep blue and violet tones, while the map with the regional borders stays light. The uncoloured obverse repeats the standard 2018-type 10-hryvnia coin: the Small Coat of Arms, «УКРАЇНА», «10», «ГРИВЕНЬ» and the year. The reverse was designed by Oleksandra Kuchynska, the obverse and the modelling are by Volodymyr Demianenko.

The NBU put the circulating coin into circulation on 28 August 2026 together with the Kirovohrad coin. The circulating Dnipropetrovsk coin has a mintage of 2 million. The series began in December 2025 with Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk and is devoted to the country’s unity and territorial integrity: every region is to receive its own coin.

The coin comes in a cardboard souvenir package: the front shows a map of Ukraine with the region picked out in blue, the back a short text about the region, its flag and coat of arms and the motto «Ми сильні ми разом». Such a piece is easy to give as a gift and to keep in a regional set of the series or a selection of coloured Ukrainian coins. Graded UNC: the coin never circulated and shows no wear.
