Germany 2 euro 2026 Klimahaus Bremerhaven in Bremen

In 2026, Germany issues a commemorative 2 euro coin in the «Bundesländer II» series, dedicated to the federal state of Bremen and the famous Klimahaus Bremerhaven 8° Ost.

On the obverse is depicted the recognizable silhouette of the Klimahaus building — an interactive climate museum in Bremerhaven, with two seagulls in the sky, the inscription «Bremen» and the year 2026. This is a reference to the unique museum where visitors «travel» through the Earth’s climate zones along the 8th meridian east longitude.

On the reverse — the standard map of Europe with the designation «2 EURO» and 12 stars, as on all German 2 euro coins.

The coin is issued in bimetallic execution (mint marks A, D, F, G, J), with a total mintage of up to 30 million pieces. An excellent choice for collectors of the federal states series or those interested in climate, ecology, and science themes — a symbol of Germany’s modern approach to education and sustainable development.

A collection can grow in any direction, and the VPcoins catalogue has options for each of them.
