France, 5 euro 2025 “French People’s Favorite Animals — Cat” is a commemorative bimetallic coin of the Monnaie de Paris series dedicated to the most popular pets. The issue marks the 180th anniversary of the French Society for the Protection of Animals (SPA) and reflects the special relationship between the French people and their pets.

The reverse features a cat and a kitten in the center, rendered in a soft and realistic style; the outer ring is decorated with thematic symbols associated with domestic animals. The year “2025” appears at the top.

The obverse follows the traditional design of French 5 euro coins, with the denomination “5 EURO” in the center, surrounded by the inscription “RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE” and official mint marks.
