Andorra 2 Euro 2025 Bimetallic UNC - Bearded Vulture
Andorra's 2-euro commemorative coin of 2025, in excellent UNC condition, is dedicated to the bearded vulture, a majestic bird of prey, a symbol of the mountainous regions of Andorra and the Pyrenees. This issue highlights the Principality's efforts to preserve biodiversity and protect rare species. The bearded vulture is one of the largest birds in Europe, and its image on the coin is particularly realistic and expressive.
The obverse of the coin depicts the coat of arms of Andorra with the inscription "ANDORRA" and the minting date on the right. The outer ring features 12 five-pointed stars, representing the European Union. The obverse (national side) features a detailed image of a bearded vulture's head facing right, lending the coin a distinctive artistic expression.
The reverse features the new standard side of euro coins: the denomination "2" on the left, an image of the European continent on the right, overlaid with the inscription "EURO." Behind the image of Europe are six vertical lines with stars at each end.
The edge is finely polished, with six indented numerals "2" (repeating alternately from bottom to top and vice versa) and twelve five-pointed stars.
This variety attracts numismatists with its environmental theme and limited mintage. A coin in UNC condition guarantees perfect preservation of all details, a bright luster, and high relief. It will make a wonderful addition to collections dedicated to European nature, rare animals, or Andorran commemorative issues. Acquiring such a piece will allow you to own not just a coin, but a true symbol of the natural heritage of this small mountainous country.
