Latvia, 2 euro 2016: the commemorative coin for Latvian agriculture.

The Latvian brown cow is one of the symbols of Latvian dairy farming, both in folklore and in life.

The coin shows a Latvian brown cow, with the year 2016 below it on the left and LATVIJA at the bottom of the inner circle. According to the ECB: issued in June 2016.

Commemorative 2 euro coins share the properties and the common side of normal 2 euro coins and are legal tender throughout the euro area. Bimetallic, 25.75 mm, 8.5 g; the outer ring bears the 12 stars of the European Union. For a euro collection it is one of the national commemorative coins of Latvia.
