The 100 dollars of the polymer Frontiers series carries «ISSUE / ÉMISSION 2011» on the front, and later printings differ in their signatures. This note is variety P110d, signed by Deputy Governor Timothy Lane and Governor Tiff Macklem, who served together in 2020–2021.
The front shows Sir Robert Laird Borden, Prime Minister of Canada in 1911–1920, a frosted maple-leaf window on the left and a hologram strip on the right with a smaller Borden portrait and the East Block of Parliament, along with «BANK OF CANADA», «BANQUE DU CANADA» and «ONE HUNDRED • CENT DOLLARS».
The back is devoted to medical innovation: a researcher at a microscope, an electrocardiogram trace, an insulin bottle and a DNA strand, with the legends «INNOVATION MÉDICALE / MEDICAL INNOVATION» and «INSULIN / INSULINE».
According to Numista, the main printing of variety P110d was 180 million notes, produced by the Canadian Bank Note Company. The HJF serial prefix on this note belongs to this variety, which makes it a precise slot in a signature run of the Canadian polymer hundred. UNC condition means the note has never circulated: no folds, no wear, no soiling, even corners — just as it left the press.
The VPcoins catalogue includes both modern polymer issues and banknotes of past eras.
