No other year produced as many silver 10 korun of the First Czechoslovak Republic as 1932: 11,447,500 pieces, more than 1930 and 1931 combined.
The type is the work of the sculptor Jaroslav Horejc, whose initials «J.H» appear on the reverse beside the value «10 Kč» and an allegorical female figure. The obverse bears the state arms, the date and the legend «REPUBLIKA ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ».
The coin belongs to the short-lived 1930–1933 type struck at Kremnica. The 1932 peak was followed by a sharp drop: only 915,000 were issued in 1933, and with that the silver ten of the interwar republic came to an end.
In F-VF the coin shows even signs of circulation, with the high points worn, while the design and lettering remain legible. The most plentiful year of the type is the natural backbone of a date run, around which the scarcer years are then gathered.
A coin from the VPcoins range makes a good starting point for a themed selection or a date run.
