This 2007 quarter is worth exactly 12.5 US cents: since May 1976 the Belize dollar has been pegged to the US dollar at two to one.
The design is traditional for Belize’s small change under Elizabeth II: the Queen’s crowned bust with «QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND» on the obverse, and «25 CENTS» in a circle with «BELIZE» and the date on the reverse. The coin is copper-nickel with a reeded edge; the type has been issued since 1974 and is struck by the Royal Mint.
Krause lists it as KM# 36. The 2007 coin fills a slot in a Belize date run and is a piece familiar to anyone who handled Belizean change in the 2000s.
Condition UNC: the coin has never circulated, shows no wear and keeps its mint lustre; minor storage marks are acceptable.
The VPcoins catalogue includes both modern commemorative issues and coins of past eras.
