Romania 10,000 lei 2000 (2001)
A regular 10,000 lei banknote from the polymer series, issued by the National Bank of Romania. Printed on polymer substrate.
On the obverse — portrait of Nicolae Iorga on the right. Main color — green, blue and multicolored. The design features a mallow flower and an artist’s brush in the center, and the coat of arms of Romania. Inscriptions in Romanian.
On the reverse — the episcopal cathedral of the Curtea de Argeș Monastery from the early 16th century. On the left — the crusader eagle from the ancient coat of arms of Wallachia. Multicolored printing with predominance of green and blue tones. The design highlights Romania’s cultural and historical heritage.
