A regular 200 rupee banknote from the new polymer series, issued by the Bank of Mauritius, variant with 2024 date. Printed on Guardian polymer substrate by Oberthur Fiduciaire.
On the obverse — portrait of Minister Abdul Razack Mohamed, facade of the bank building, standing figure of Justice with sword and scales, coat of arms of Mauritius. Main color — green and multicolored. The design features a dodo head and national symbols. Inscriptions in English, Hindi and Tamil.
On the reverse — stalls with fruits and vegetables at the Central Market in Port Louis, dodo head. Multicolored printing with predominance of green, orange and yellow tones. The design highlights the contribution of historical figures to the development of Mauritius, everyday trade and the cultural heritage of the island (including the dodo symbol).
