Regular banknote with a face value of 50 patacas, issued on 6 November 2017 by the Bank of China in Macau (Banco da China). Printed on paper by Hongkong Printing Press, series variant with signature Li Guang or similar.
On the obverse — Dom Pedro V Theatre building (Teatro D. Pedro V) in the center — a historic 19th-century Portuguese theatre in the Santo António district. Main color — brown and multicolored. Inscriptions in Chinese and Portuguese.
On the reverse — headquarters building of the Bank of China in Macau in the foreground, Governador Nobre de Carvalho Bridge in the background. Multicolored printing with a predominance of brown, green, and orange tones. The design emphasizes colonial architectural heritage and modern infrastructure of Macau.
