Barbados 100 dollars 2024
A regular 100 dollar banknote issued by the Central Bank of Barbados in the 2022 series, variant with 2024 date and governor’s signature. Printed on De La Rue’s SAFEGUARD® polymer substrate. Vertical orientation design.
On the obverse — portrait of Sir Grantley Adams, hero of Barbados’ social revolution, first Premier (1954–1958), leader in the struggle for workers’ rights and independence. Main color — gray-violet with multicolored elements. The design features the coat of arms of Barbados, the trident, national symbols, and a holographic element. Inscriptions in English.
On the reverse — depiction of Grantley Adams International Airport, symbolizing the island’s connection to the world and aviation development. Multicolored printing with predominance of gray, violet, and blue tones. The design highlights the role of leaders in Barbados’ social and political history, modern infrastructure, and national identity.
