Bahrain, 1/2 dinar of the 2006 type (issue of 2017) is a regular-issue banknote of the Central Bank of Bahrain, intended for domestic circulation and forming part of the current standard series of the national currency.
The obverse features the Old Court Building in Manama, a historical structure associated with the country’s governmental and legal institutions. The reverse reflects Bahrain’s modern stage of development and depicts the Bahrain International Circuit, one of the country’s well-known sporting landmarks and a characteristic design element of this banknote series.
The banknote bears signatures of Central Bank officials, a watermark with a portrait of the King, and standard security features of the issue. In UNC condition, the sharpness of printing and overall quality are clearly visible. This note will appeal to collectors interested in modern issues from the Persian Gulf region.
