Lithuanian commemorative 2 euro coin of 2022: Suvalkija.

The coin belongs to the Lithuanian Ethnographic Regions series. The shield bears an aurochs, once the most widespread animal of the region, framed by silver oak branches with acorns, a symbol of its rich history going back to the pagan Lithuanian state, joined by a silver ribbon inscribed VIENYBĖ TEŽYDI (may unity blossom); LIETUVA and the year 2022 are at the top, SUVALKIJA and the Lithuanian Mint mark at the bottom.

Commemorative 2 euro coins share the properties and the common side of normal 2 euro coins and are legal tender throughout the euro area. Bimetallic, 25.75 mm, 8.5 g; the outer ring bears the 12 stars of the European Union. According to the ECB: mintage 500,000, issued in the fourth quarter of 2022.
