Monegasque commemorative 2 euro coin of 2019: 200 years since the accession of Prince Honoré V.

The coin marks the bicentenary of the accession of Prince Honoré V of Monaco in 1819. It shows the effigy of Prince Honoré V with HONORÉ V on the left, MONACO on the right and 1819 — Avènement — 2019 in a semicircle at the bottom.

Commemorative 2 euro coins share the properties and the common side of normal 2 euro coins and are legal tender throughout the euro area. Bimetallic, 25.75 mm, 8.5 g; the outer ring bears the 12 stars of the European Union. According to the ECB: mintage 15,000, issued in June 2019.
