Every note of this series follows one formula, which the bank states as: on the front, the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh, the national emblem and the words «Socialist Republic of Vietnam»; on the back, the words «State Bank of Vietnam», the value in figures and in words, a landscape or a historic and cultural structure, and ornamental patterns.

The polymer dong is collected by denomination, year of printing and serial prefix. UNC condition means the note has never circulated: no folds, no wear, no soiling, even corners — just as it left the press.
