The full range of Ukrainian coins in Proof, Uncirculated, Fine and Fine-Very Fine condition from VPcoins is an excellent way to add to a collection or to choose a coin as a gift.

A commemorative collector coin in nickel silver struck to special uncirculated quality. It is devoted to the world Year of the Bat. Twenty-six species of bats are recorded in Ukraine; they are entered in the Red Book of Ukraine and protected under the law. Bats are the only mammals capable of active flight.

The obverse is covered with a relief ground of rays issuing from the middle of the coin, and on these relief lines is set an original thematic design: at the centre a large silhouette of a BAT with a mirror finish against the night sky and a flight of bats. At the top of the obverse, by the rim, is the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine, flanked by the semicircular legend НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ ⌂ БАНК УКРАЇНИ. Below the silhouette of the bat is the two-line horizontal denomination 5 / ГРИВЕНЬ; to the right of the silhouette is the year of minting, 2012, and to the left the mark of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

The reverse is finished with mirror and matt grounds. At the lower left is a schematic mirror silhouette of the globe with trees and structures growing upon it in which bats dwell; against the globe is a large image of a BAT. Above and to the right of the image run the semicircular legends: at the top, from left to right, ВСЕСВІТНІЙ and, on the right, from bottom to top, РІК КАЖАНА.
