The twenty dollars of 2019 was issued for Singapore's bicentennial, 1819–2019, counted from the founding of the British trading settlement on the island. The back tells of these two centuries through people: it shows eight pioneers who came from different lands and contributed to building the nation.

The note is printed on polymer and entered circulation on 5 June 2019.

The commemorative twenty for the bicentennial takes its place among Singapore's jubilee polymer notes beside the SG50 and 2017 issues and is a strong note for a «city history on banknotes» set. UNC condition means the note has never circulated: no folds, no wear, no soiling, even corners — just as it left the press.
