In the bank's catalogue «Notes and Coins of Nepal» this is type NRB-24, which the bank dates to December 1974. Printed by De La Rue & Co. Ltd (UK). The note carries the signature of Governor Kul Shekhar Sharma.

The face carries the portrait of King Birendra and the Pashupati temple. The back carries Mount Ama Dablam and the Himalayan musk deer. A note of Nepal Rastra Bank.

Nepalese rupees are collected by the types of the bank's catalogue: one and the same design may have five or six types, told apart by the Governor's signature and by the printer. UNC condition means the note has never circulated: no folds, no wear, no soiling, even corners — just as it left the press.

The VPcoins catalogue includes both modern polymer issues and banknotes of past eras.
