The 2012 100 pesos is a commemorative note issued by the Central Bank of Argentina for the 60th anniversary of the death of Eva Perón; it entered circulation on 20 September 2012.
The front shows María Eva Duarte de Perón (1919–1952), and the back a relief of the Roman Altar of Augustan Peace (Ara Pacis Augustae) with a cornucopia and scales.
The bank classes the note among its commemorative issues, currency with a distinctive design. Its design later became the basis of the regular 100-peso notes of 2013–2017, so the 2012 commemorative series is the start of that line.
For a collection of commemorative notes this is an official anniversary issue of the Central Bank of Argentina, and in the «Evita» line it is the first position, naturally followed by the regular 100-peso notes of 2013–2017. UNC condition means the note has never circulated: no folds, no wear, no soiling, even corners — just as it left the press.
