For this denomination the bank lists the issuances of 1996, 2001, 2007, 2012 and the circulation dates 14.07.1997, 08.04.2002, 20.07.2009 и 09.09.2013.

The obverse shows a portrait of Naim Frashëri (1846–1900), one of the most distinguished writers of the Albanian Renaissance, with an open book in the background. The reverse shows the house where Naim Frashëri was born, a page with verses from his poem «Herds and crops» and a stylised image of his pen. A banknote of the Bank of Albania of the earlier design.

The Albanian lek is collected by series: the current series of 2019–2022, the earlier issuances of 1996–2015 and the notes of the State Bank of Albania before 1992 are different designs, each with its own sizes and colours. UNC condition means the note has never circulated: no folds, no wear, no soiling, even corners — just as it left the press.

A banknote from the VPcoins catalogue is a gift that is interesting to examine and has a story worth telling.
