Regular banknote with a denomination of 100 peso boliviano, issued under the law of July 13, 1962 by the Banco Central de Bolivia. Printed by Thomas De La Rue, one of the issues of the 1962–1980s series (P-164a — early variant with prefixes like 13E–19T).
The obverse features a portrait of Simón Bolívar on the right, the Bolivian coat of arms on the left, red serial number, security thread on the left center. Main color is red on a light blue background pattern with green and blue elements. Inscriptions in Spanish.
The reverse shows the Republic Independence Act scene in darker red tones. Multicolor printing with predominance of red shades. The design emphasizes the liberation history and the national coat of arms.
